David Jahn to compete in 2023 Nürburgring Endurance Series with AVIA W&S Motorsport

David Jahn is completing an extensive double programme with AVIA W&S Motorsport in the 2023 season. In addition to his entry in the GEDORE Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in the ADAC GT4 Germany, the 32-year-old will also compete in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), piloting the AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup #120 together with his teammates Tim Scheerbarth and Paul Harkema.

David Jahn is already very familiar with the car, having been part of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas' team back in 2022. With his experience, the German made a significant contribution to AVIA W&S Motorsport celebrating numerous class victories and the championship title in the Cup2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN).

Already at the second round of the NLS on 1st April 2023, David Jahn will get back behind the wheel of the Cup nine-eleven and fight with his teammates Tim Scheerbarth and Paul Harkema for the title defence of the one-make cup. He will not be racing in NLS races 6 and 7 in September due to a clash of dates with the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Sachsenring.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport: "We are very pleased that David will also be supporting us in the NLS with immediate effect and is taking on the challenge of the double programme. He has already proven his incredible skills several times last season. Through his rocket starts, he caused a sensation and regularly catapulted us to the top of the NLS field. This also helped us win the Cup2 of PETN in 2022 and we hope to be able to repeat that this year."

David Jahn, Driver #120: "I feel very comfortable in the W&S Motorsport team. That's why I didn't have to think twice about competing in the NLS again in addition to the ADAC GT4 Germany. Last year we were already champions in Cup2 of the PETN and of course we want to defend the title. The season already started very promisingly with the Cup2 victory at the first round and I am sure that we will achieve further successes together with Tim and Paul."
