On the penultimate race weekend of the GT4 European Series in Monza, Alon Gabbay and Fabio Rauer will make a guest start in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport with W&S Motorsport. Gabbay has already been a guest starter at Hockenheim and Rauer joins the team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas.

Gabbay is a regular driver for the racing team from Ofterdingen in the ADAC GT4 Germany and has already had a taste of the European GT4 racing series at Hockenheim. In the second race, the 20-year-old and his team-mate Tano Neumann left their mark when they prevailed against strong competition in the Pro-Am class and took their first victory.

Rauer already gained experience in the GT4 European Series at the start of the season and finished fourth on the opening weekend at Paul Ricard. The 18-year-old will make his debut in the Porsche GT4 cockpit at Monza and will compete with his team-mate Gabbay in the Silver Trophy.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport: “Welcome to W&S Motorsport, Fabio! We are happy that Fabio will be racing with us in Monza and, together with Alon, we have another strong driver duo on board. I am sure that both of them will quickly get used to the track and be able to achieve good results. Alon has already shown his potential with his victory at Hockenheim and I am excited to see how the two youngsters will perform together in the Silver Trophy.”

Alon Gabbay, Driver #31: “I am happy to be back for another guest start in the GT4 European Series! It will be my first time at Monza and I am really excited about it. Together with Fabio, I am sure we will achieve good results and aim for the podium.”

Fabio Rauer, Driver #31: “I am really looking forward to working with W&S Motorsport and Alon. Competing in a new car for the first time will be a challenge, but it will also be a great experience. Monza is a track with a lot of history and I can’t wait to drive there for the first time.”
