AVIA W&S Motorsport enters its fourth season: W&S Motorsport and Deutsche AVIA are continuing their successful partnership and will also compete together in 2025. Just a few weeks after their historic success in the ADAC GT4 Germany, when the team won all four championships, the racing team from Ofterdingen and the nationwide energy provider have extended their cooperation for another year.

In 2025, two cars will once again represent the unmistakable AVIA colours on the international motorsport stage. An AVIA racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will compete in the ADAC GT4 Germany and, as in the previous season, will be on the hunt for the title. An AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup will compete in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) and fight for victories and the championship in the fiercely contested Cup2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). The team will announce which drivers will be at the wheel of the two cars in due course.

By extending their collaboration, both partners are sending a clear signal of continuity and their joint pursuit of success in motorsport. By pooling forces and resources, the aim is to put together another winning package and sign up top drivers in order to collect many championship titles and trophies in the new season.

After winning the team championship last year, AVIA W&S Motorsport went one better this year and won all four championships in the ADAC GT4 Germany 2024 in the driver, team, Junior and Trophy classifications. This success is unique in the history of the racing series. In twelve races this season, the team has claimed three overall wins, four overall second places, seven overall third places, 13 class wins, 14 class second places and six class third places. At the season highlight at the Norisring, all three AVIA W&S Motorsport cars were in the top three in qualifying and started the race from grid positions one, two and three.

AVIA W&S Motorsport also had plenty of reason to celebrate in the NLS 2024. In the PETN Cup2 class, the AVIA racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup #120 of Daniel Blickle, Tim Scheerbarth and David Jahn was runner-up in the driver and team standings and finished the fifth race in a strong third place overall. The trio also celebrated two class victories in the 2024 season and finished second in class four times.

Josef Grünberger, Authorised Signatory / Head of AVIA Marketing: “As Deutsche AVIA, we are delighted to extend our commitment with W&S Motorsport for another year. We are looking forward to the coming season with excitement and anticipation and wish AVIA W&S Motorsport continued success on the race track!”

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal AVIA W&S Motorsport: “AVIA has been an important partner and part of our team for four years now and we would like to thank them very much for the fantastic cooperation! The trust and support they have placed in us is an important factor in our success.
