The Biggest Highlight of the Year – W&S Motorsport Ready for the Green Hell
This is the race the entire team looks forward to all year long: the 24h Nürburgring. A week full of motorsport, emotions and unforgettable moments – for drivers, team and fans alike. 24 hours on the Nordschleife, long nights, unpredictable twists and the sheer will to keep going. That is exactly what W&S Motorsport lives for – and exactly why the team is back again this year.
Last year, W&S Motorsport wrote a special chapter at the 24h race: the CMS Porsche #962 with Moritz Oberheim and Lorenz Stegmann fought through 24 hours on the Nordschleife and claimed the class victory – a moment that filled the entire team with pride and one that they are determined to repeat this year. The memory of it is both motivation and inspiration.
This year, W&S Motorsport enters with five cars – four Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS and one BMW M2. Around 250,000 spectators are expected to turn the Nordschleife into a unique festival.
Five Cars, One Goal
W&S Motorsport lines up in 2026 with a strong and experienced entry. Most of the drivers also compete with W&S Motorsport in the Nürburgring Endurance Series – joined by several well-known faces from the wider motorsport scene.

Voices Ahead of the Start
Stephan Brodmerkel (#164): “The 24h race is not just a race – it is motorsport in its purest form. A week with the fans and the team like no other. We go into it with great joy, genuine excitement and the support of the fans – with the clear goal of giving absolutely everything.”
Moritz Oberheim (#962) is determined to defend the title: “I am really looking forward to it. Last year we took the class victory – that was an unforgettable moment. Getting to race alongside Lorenz again makes it even more special, as we are already a well-rehearsed team. We want to defend the title. The whole team is well prepared, but the competition also has strong driver line-ups. It’s going to be exciting.”
Zhen Dong Zhang (#961) is looking forward to his first race with W&S: “This is my third 24h race at the Nürburgring – but my first with W&S Motorsport. I am genuinely excited because the team is very strong and brings an enormous amount of experience to the 24h race.”
Christoph Krombach (#982) knows what lies ahead: “In 2025 we showed in the highly competitive AM class of the Cup3 that we are a force to be reckoned with. This year there will be 150 cars on the grid – it will be even more crowded and the racing will certainly be harder. Our goal for 2026: first we have to finish, then we can finish first. Good traffic management and a little bit of luck – and then anything is possible.”
Yanis and Frank Anhorn (#899): “Dad and I feel well prepared. We have worked hard, analysed our lap times and data, and know exactly where we can push more. We are in a very positive mindset and really looking forward to the race.”
Team Principal Daniel Schellhaas: “The 24h race is a very special event for all of us. We have a strong driver line-up and a perfectly prepared service team. The competition will be tough – but we are ready. Bring on the long nights on the Nordschleife – that is exactly what we are here for.”
