Two race wins, a strong team performance and important points at the second round of the season
Ofterdingen, 6 July 2026 – What a weekend. At the second round of the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Norisring, AVIA W&S Motorsport made a resounding statement. A double pole in the first race, a triple pole in the second race, several race wins and a team performance that sent an important signal after the past weeks: AVIA W&S Motorsport is right at the front – and how.

Already in free practice it became clear that the team was strongly positioned at the Norisring. In the first session the #30 of Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer placed third in class and third overall, while the #31 of Lachlan Robinson and Denny Berndt took second in class and overall. The #32 of Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still finished second in class and eleventh overall, and the #33 of Frederic Zebis and Nicolas Guillaume was 15th in class and 17th overall.
In the second session the team stepped it up again: the #30 moved to second in class and overall, the #32 even took the class lead and was sixth overall. The #31 placed tenth in class and twelfth overall, the #33 13th in class and 15th overall.
Qualifying – A Triple Pole for AVIA W&S Motorsport
Qualifying became the real highlight of the weekend. In Q1 the #31 of Robinson and Berndt secured the overall pole and first place in class. The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer took second in class and overall. The #32 was second in class and 17th overall, the #33 eleventh in class and twelfth overall.
In Q2 the #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer turned the tables and claimed the overall pole as well as first place in class. The #31 followed in second in class and overall, the #32 again took the class lead and was third overall, while the #33 placed twelfth in class and 14th overall. That put the three AVIA W&S Porsche in the overall positions one, two and three – a triple pole that filled the entire team with pride and, after the past weeks, showed that the squad can run right at the front of this series.
Race 1 – Joy and Pain
The first race was a weekend in miniature – elation and disappointment lay close together.
The absolute highlight came from the #31 of Robinson and Berndt and the #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer: Robinson and Berndt drove to first overall and first in class, with Gabbay and Schreyer following in second overall and in class. A one-two that delighted the whole team.
But Race 1 also brought bitter moments. When Tim Horrell came in for the driver change, a tyre blister was discovered on the #32 – the tyre had bulged from overheating without bursting. The tyre was changed quickly, but after one lap Hendrik Still had to return to the box – a brake problem forced the duo to retire. Things went unluckily for the #33 of Zebis and Guillaume too: on the final lap the car was spun and suffered a tyre blowout as a result – the race was over prematurely.
Race 2 – Dominance from the Triple Pole
Starting from the triple pole, AVIA W&S Motorsport put in an impressive performance on Sunday. The cooler temperatures worked in the team’s favour as well. The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer drove to first overall and first in class – another race win. The #31 of Robinson and Berndt followed in second in class and overall. After the retirement in Race 1, the #32 of Horrell and Still took first place in the PRO/AM classification and a strong first overall in its class. For the #33 of Zebis and Guillaume the weekend ended early once more: contact forced the duo to pull off prematurely.

Denny Berndt (#31) was delighted: “The weekend was really great fun. We learned a lot, worked well together and made it onto the podium in both races.”
Tim Horrell (#32) looked back with mixed feelings: “What a weekend – first we had to pull off in Race 1 because of the brake problems, and in the second race we achieved P1 in the PRO/AM classification. That was really nice. Thanks to the whole team.”
Frederic Zebis (#33) was defiant: “That wasn’t the weekend we had hoped for. Next time we’ll come back stronger.”
