Quotes from the race weekend:

Car #30

Nico Gründel:

“We started the weekend really strong, I got to the pace pretty fast on Thursday. On Friday we had some issues with the car but we’ve managed the situation. Qualifying on Saturday wasn’t the best because we missed the peak of the tyre. Then on Sunday we had the first race with rain and I think we would have fought for more if we had more time left. The second race today was a bit of a struggle, we set up the car for the possibility of rain, so it was difficult to pass. Still tried my best and ended up on P2 in PRO-AM. I hope we can improve in Barcelona and get the P1”

Tim Horrell:

“This weekend was difficult for me, probably the most difficult one of this Winter Series so far. I couldn’t find the pace but still learned a lot and I’m really looking forward to Barcelona and hopefully the conditions suit better for us with the Porsche.”

Car #31

Max Schreyer:

“Overall it was a promising weekend for me, I’ve managed to get better on dry conditions. Yesterday I drove on first qualifying and first race and it was quite okay, just missing a bit of pace. Looking forward to Barcelona, let’s see what we can do there.”

Alon Gabbay:

“We started testing on Thursday and Friday and the pace wasn’t the best but we kept our head up. Saturday’s qualifying was quite good on P6 and then today on Race 2 I started in P6 and after one lap I was in P2. I’ve managed to reach P1 and put a 11 seconds gap to P2, so I couldn’t be happier. The endurance race was a bit difficult with some technical issues but we managed to finish P5.”

Car #32

Daniel Blickle:

“I had a very good weekend, I did a lot of track time since I had the car on my own. Quite good progress, some good results so I’m quite happy.”
