W&S Motorsport continued its successful campaign in the GT4 European Series with a perfect Pro-Am class performance. Hendrik Still and Joachim Bölting secured class victories in both races, while the team also impressed in the Am class with a win and a second-place finish.

Still qualified the #32 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS for the first race with a stunning performance, placing the car on the front row. “We had a very strong qualifying and were able to maintain that performance throughout the race,” explained Still. The duo controlled their class with confidence, securing their first win of the day. In the second race, despite a challenging starting position – Bölting couldn’t set a timed lap in qualifying – the pair mounted an impressive comeback, crowned with their second class victory of the weekend.

In the Am class, Max Kronberg and Daniel Blickle celebrated their first joint season victory in the #30 Porsche on Saturday. “This win was particularly important for us after our challenging season opener at Paul Ricard,” said Kronberg, who competed successfully in the Pro-Am class last season. On Sunday, the duo staged a spectacular recovery drive: starting from 38th position, they fought their way through the field to secure second place in their class.

The Silver Cup pairing of Alon Gabbay and Guy Albag also showed strong form in the #31 Porsche. With a top-10 finish and recognition as the best rookie driver on Saturday, Albag demonstrated his potential. “Our pace was very strong, and the team did a fantastic job preparing the car for the race after some technical issues,” praised Gabbay. Sunday’s race, however, ended prematurely when a competitor took Albag out in the first lap.

New to the team was the Swedish duo of Edvin Hellsten and Daniel Nilsson in the #2 Porsche, competing in the Pro-Am class. “For my first race weekend in the series, we made consistent progress,” reflected Nilsson. “The collaboration with the team was excellent.”

Team Principal Daniel Schellhaas expressed his satisfaction with the overall performance: “We delivered strong results across all classes. The double victory in Pro-Am underlines our strength, while our Am class performances with a win and second place were equally impressive. I’m particularly pleased with our rookies’ performance, who clearly demonstrated their potential.”

The GT4 European Series will next visit the legendary Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps from June 26-29, as part of the iconic 24-hour race weekend.
