Race 1: Double podium and championship secured
The first race brought the decision in the teams’ championship. Lachlan Robinson and Oskar Kristensen finished second, while Hendrik Still and Philipp Gogollok secured third place. With this double podium, it was done – the teams’ championship was won early! A fantastic moment for the entire team.
Alon Gabbay and Thomas Gore finished the race in twelfth, Maximilian Schreyer and Luciano Schneider in thirteenth.
Third consecutive title – Success story since 2021
AVIA W&S Motorsport has been competing in ADAC GT4 Germany since 2021 and has contested the full season since 2022. Since then, the team has continuously developed and successfully established itself. Following the teams’ championships in 2023 and 2024, the third consecutive title represents an impressive achievement.
Overall, the team has achieved ten race victories in ADAC GT4 Germany since entering the series. In 2024, AVIA W&S Motorsport also led drivers to titles in the drivers’, junior and trophy classifications, winning all four available championships – a historic success that no other team had ever achieved before.
Team spirit makes the difference
Hendrik Still, who has been competing with AVIA W&S Motorsport in GT4 Germany since 2022, emphasizes the exceptional team spirit: “This title is the result of a fantastic team performance. I’ve been part of this since 2022 and have witnessed how the team has developed. The team spirit is simply fantastic – everyone works for everyone else, from the mechanics to the engineers to the drivers. We’re like a family and that’s exactly what makes us so strong. Three consecutive team titles are no coincidence, but the result of hard work and this special team spirit.”
AVIA partnership as success factor
The partnership with AVIA has proven to be an important success factor. The #1 AVIA Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS of Hendrik Still and Philipp Gogollok, the most successful W&S drivers this season, contributed significantly to the third consecutive team title. The successful collaboration between AVIA and W&S Motorsport is reflected not only in the results, but also in the professional presentation and strong brand presence in ADAC GT4 Germany.
Team principal Daniel Schellhaas: Proud of the entire team
Team principal Daniel Schellhaas was overwhelmed by the third consecutive team title: “Winning three consecutive team championships is something very special and makes me incredibly proud. This is the achievement of the entire team – everyone has contributed. From the workshop to the racetrack to the organization behind the scenes, everyone has done excellent work. I’m very grateful to all sponsors, partners, the team, the drivers and all supporters. The partnership with AVIA is particularly important to us. Together we have written a success story and will do everything to continue it.”
