Fourth season victory, vice-championship and teams’ title – Successful finale at Hockenheimring
AVIA W&S Motorsport concluded the 2025 ADAC GT4 Germany season with a perfect weekend at Hockenheim. Hendrik Still and Philipp Gogollok secured the vice-championship in the drivers’ standings with a victory on Sunday, while the team had already won the teams’ championship for the third consecutive year on Saturday. With a total of four season victories and ten race wins since entering the series, AVIA W&S Motorsport impressively demonstrated its strong position in ADAC GT4 Germany.
Saturday: Teams’ championship secured early
The weekend began promisingly for AVIA W&S Motorsport. In the first qualifying session, Lachlan Robinson secured pole position, followed by Hendrik Still in fourth. Luciano Schneider qualified in eleventh, while Thomas Gore started from fourteenth.
The first race brought the decision in the teams’ championship. Lachlan Robinson and Oskar Kristensen finished second, while Hendrik Still and Philipp Gogollok secured third place. With this double podium, it was done – the teams’ championship was won early! A fantastic moment for the entire team.
“We’re really satisfied with the car and its performance,” Kristensen explained after the race. “The success ballast from the last race made it a bit difficult towards the end. That’s why I unfortunately lost the lead in the final stages – but that’s how it is sometimes.”
Robinson added: “Of course we would have liked to finish one position higher on the podium, but we don’t need to hide with second place. We’re very happy.”
Alon Gabbay and Thomas Gore finished the first race in twelfth, Maximilian Schreyer and Luciano Schneider in thirteenth.
Sunday: Victory and vice-championship
In the second qualifying, Philipp Gogollok made a statement and secured pole position. Oskar Kristensen qualified second, Alon Gabbay sixth and Maximilian Schreyer ninth.
The second race then became the perfect crowning of the weekend. Gogollok won the start from pole position and led the race confidently. After the driver change, Still took over the Porsche and drove safely to his third season victory. With this success, Still and Gogollok secured the vice-championship in the drivers’ standings.
“It was a great weekend and once again a fantastic team performance,” Still rejoiced. “AVIA W&S Motorsport gives us an incredible car every time. For Philipp it was his first year in the Porsche and he’s shown tremendous development. Let’s see in which constellation we’ll attack together again next year.”
Gogollok was satisfied with the end to the season: “Of course we would have liked to win the title as well, but finishing the season with a race victory is great. The whole team and Hendrik did a fantastic job throughout the season. We had some ups and downs along the way. Overall though, it was a great year.”
Alon Gabbay and Thomas Gore finished fourth, Lachlan Robinson and Oskar Kristensen seventh. Maximilian Schreyer and Luciano Schneider had to retire early.
Team principal proud of strong performance
Team principal Daniel Schellhaas was proud of the entire team’s performance: “With the vice-championship and winning the teams’ championship, we came pretty close to last year’s success when we won all the titles. I have to say it was a very difficult situation. The competition was very high. We had a lot of bad luck at the start of the season and lost important points that we were missing. So we can be proud of our performance at Red Bull Ring and Hockenheim, where we had a good comeback. Thanks to everyone in the team, as well as the drivers, sponsors and supporters.”
Successful 2025 season
AVIA W&S Motorsport looks back on a successful 2025 season. With four season victories, the vice-championship in the drivers’ standings and the third consecutive teams’ title, the team impressively confirmed its strong position in ADAC GT4 Germany.
In the evening, the team celebrated together at the prize-giving ceremony and toasted to a successful season. The team can look back proudly on what has been achieved and is already looking forward to the challenges of the coming season.
