AVIA W&S Motorsport Celebrates a Double Podium With Victory at the Nürburgring

AVIA W&S Motorsport back at the top of the championship standings after a turbulent Saturday

Nürburg, 17 August 2026 – Under bright sunshine and summer temperatures, the ADAC GT4 Germany round at the Nürburgring was a real rollercoaster for AVIA W&S Motorsport – but one that ended with a strong highlight on Sunday. A very special moment: the cycling squad of our long-standing partner AVIA, the AVIA Racing Team, came to visit and cheered the team on loudly. Fantastic support that visibly lifted the whole team – and was ultimately rewarded with strong results.

Thursday – Intensive Preparation

On Thursday the team completed three test sessions to prepare as well as possible for the weekend and to gather valuable kilometres.

Friday – Free Practice

In free practice the team showed decent pace. There was plenty of running, and all four cars kept up well, so the team went into qualifying day from a solid starting position.

Qualifying 1 – Saturday

In the first qualifying session the field was closely matched. Lachlan Robinson and Denny Berndt in the #31 were immediately on the pace and secured second in class and overall – a strong statement. Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still in the #32 took second in class and 17th overall. The AVIA Porsche #30 of Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer came home ninth in class and tenth overall. Frederic Zebis and Nicolas Guillaume in the #33 placed 13th in class and 14th overall.

Race 1 – Chaos at Turn 1 and a Strong Battle

The start was turbulent: an accident at the very first corner saw the #33 hit by another car and beached in the gravel – ending the race early for Zebis and Guillaume.

Robinson and Berndt in the #31 provided the real drama: for a long phase of the race they were involved in a spectacular fight that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. In the end the pair crossed the line in second – a strong performance. Afterwards the stewards issued a controversial penalty that dropped the duo to sixth in class. A result that cost valuable championship points and hurt the team with a view to the overall standings.

The #32 was particularly strong: Horrell and Still drove an excellent race and secured the class win. The AVIA Porsche of Gabbay and Schreyer completed the picture with seventh in class and eighth overall.

Qualifying 2 – A Step Forward Across the Board

In the second qualifying session the #31 again confirmed its strong form with second in class and overall. Horrell and Still put the #32 on class pole and fifth overall. The AVIA Porsche #30 improved to fifth in class and seventh overall. Zebis and Guillaume rounded things off with tenth in class and twelfth overall.

Race 2 – The Championship Lead Is Back: Double Podium and Race Win on Sunday

What a Sunday! Robinson and Berndt delivered an outstanding race in the #31 and took the lead early. After the bitter disappointment of the previous day they made a clear statement, controlled the front of the field over the full distance and crossed the line first – a thoroughly deserved outright win and an impressive recapture of the championship lead!

Behind them the AVIA Porsche #30 also put in a strong performance: Gabbay and Schreyer completed the double podium with third overall – P1 and P3 for AVIA W&S Motorsport, a result the whole team celebrated. Horrell and Still in the #32 finished fourth in class, Zebis and Guillaume 13th in class and overall.

Voices from the Weekend

Hendrik Still (#32) gave a mixed assessment: “A difficult weekend overall. For Sunday we had a great qualifying result. We still need to work on the car a little – over one lap we’re very strong, but over the distance still too weak. The win on Saturday was mega all the same.”

Nicolas Guillaume (#33) looked back positively: “All in all it was a good weekend with clear progress in pace and confidence in the car. Even if we were still missing a little experience and luck in the races, we take away a lot of positives. Despite the contact at the start and the accident on Saturday, we continued to gather valuable experience.”

Denny Berndt (#31) was visibly satisfied: “What a weekend! Getting the time penalty on Saturday was of course frustrating, but on Sunday we were able to show what we can do.”

Team principal Daniel Schellhaas summed up: “A weekend full of emotions. The turbulent start on Saturday did not make it easy for us, but the response on Sunday with the win and the double podium was exactly what we wanted to see. A big thank you as well to our partner AVIA for the great support at the track – that clearly gave us a boost.”

    AVIA W&S Motorsport feiert Doppelpodium mit Sieg am Nürburgring

    AVIA W&S Motorsport zurück an der Spitze der Tabellenführung nach turbulentem Samstag

    Nürburg, 17.08.2026 – Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und sommerlichen Temperaturen war der Lauf der ADAC GT4 Germany am Nürburgring für AVIA W&S Motorsport ein echtes Auf und Ab – am Ende aber mit einem starken Höhepunkt am Sonntag. Ein ganz besonderer Moment: Das Fahrrad-Team unseres langjährigen Partners AVIA, das AVIA Racing Team, hat uns besucht und dem Team lautstark die Daumen gedrückt. Eine tolle Unterstützung, die dem gesamten Team sichtlich Auftrieb gab – und am Ende auch verdient mit starken Ergebnissen belohnt wurde.

    Donnerstag – Intensive Vorbereitung

    Am Donnerstag absolvierte das Team drei Testsessions, um sich bestmöglich auf das Wochenende vorzubereiten und wertvolle Kilometer zu sammeln.

    Freitag – Freies Training

    Im freien Training zeigte das Team ordentliche Pace. Es wurde viel geübt und alle vier Fahrzeuge kamen gut mit, sodass das Team mit einer soliden Ausgangslage in den Qualifying-Tag ging.

    Qualifying 1 – Samstag

    Im ersten Qualifying zeigte sich das Feld eng beieinander. Lachlan Robinson und Denny Berndt in der #31 fuhren direkt vorne mit und sicherten sich den zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang – eine starke Ansage. Tim Horrell und Hendrik Still in der #32 fuhren auf den zweiten Klassenrang und den 17. Gesamtrang. Der AVIA Porsche #30 von Alon Gabbay und Maximilian Schreyer kam auf den neunten Klassen- und zehnten Gesamtrang. Frederic Zebis und Nicolas Guillaume in der #33 belegten den 13. Klassen- und 14. Gesamtrang.

    Rennen 1 – Chaos in Kurve 1 und starker Kampf

    Der Start verlief turbulent: Bereits in der ersten Kurve kam es zu einem Unfall, bei dem die #33 von einem anderen Fahrzeug getroffen wurde und im Kiesbett landete – für Zebis und Guillaume war das Rennen damit vorzeitig beendet.

    Für echte Spannung sorgten derweil Robinson und Berndt in der #31: Über eine lange Phase des Rennens lieferten sie sich einen spektakulären Kampf, der die Zuschauer über weite Strecken in Atem hielt. Am Ende überquerten die beiden die Ziellinie als Zweite – eine starke Leistung. Im Nachgang gab es durch die Stewards eine umstrittene Strafe, die das Duo auf den sechsten Klassenrang zurückwarf. Ein Ergebnis, das wertvolle Punkte in der Meisterschaft kostete und dem Team mit Blick auf die Gesamtwertung wehtat.

    Besonders stark unterwegs war die #32: Horrell und Still fuhren ein starkes Rennen und sicherten sich den Klassensieg. Der AVIA Porsche von Gabbay und Schreyer komplettierte das Ergebnis auf dem siebten Klassen- und achten Gesamtrang.

    Qualifying 2 – Steigerung über das Feld

    Im zweiten Qualifying bestätigte die #31 erneut ihre starke Form mit dem zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang. Horrell und Still fuhren in der #32 auf die Klassenpole und den fünften Gesamtrang. Der AVIA Porsche #30 verbesserte sich auf den fünften Klassen- und siebten Gesamtrang. Zebis und Guillaume komplettierten das Bild mit dem zehnten Klassen- und zwölften Gesamtrang.

    Rennen 2 – Die Tabellenführung ist zurück: Doppelpodium und Rennsieg am Sonntag

    Was für ein Sonntag! Robinson und Berndt lieferten in der #31 ein überragendes Rennen ab und übernahmen früh die Führung. Nach der bitteren Enttäuschung vom Vortag setzten sie ein klares Statement, kontrollierten die Spitze über die gesamte Distanz und fuhren als Erste über die Ziellinie – ein hochverdienter Gesamtsieg und die eindrucksvolle Rückeroberung der Tabellenführung!

    Dahinter zeigte auch der AVIA Porsche #30 eine starke Leistung: Gabbay und Schreyer komplettierten mit dem dritten Gesamtrang das Doppelpodium – P1 und P3 für AVIA W&S Motorsport, ein Ergebnis, das das gesamte Team feierte. Horrell und Still in der #32 kamen auf den vierten Klassenrang ins Ziel, Zebis und Guillaume auf den 13. Klassen- und Gesamtrang.

    Stimmen zum Wochenende

    Hendrik Still (#32) zog ein differenziertes Fazit: „Generell ein schwieriges Wochenende. Für Sonntag hatten wir ein super Qualifying-Ergebnis. Wir müssen noch etwas am Auto arbeiten – auf eine Runde sind wir sehr stark, über die Distanz aber noch zu schwach. Der Sieg am Samstag war trotzdem mega.“

    Nicolas Guillaume (#33) blickte positiv zurück: „Insgesamt war es ein gutes Wochenende mit klaren Fortschritten bei Tempo und Vertrauen ins Auto. Auch wenn uns in den Rennen noch etwas Erfahrung und Glück gefehlt haben, nehmen wir viel Positives mit. Trotz der Berührung am Start und des Unfalls am Samstag haben wir weiter wertvolle Erfahrungen gesammelt.“

    Denny Berndt (#31) war sichtlich zufrieden: „Was für ein Wochenende! Dass wir die Zeitstrafe am Samstag bekamen, war natürlich ärgerlich, aber am Sonntag konnten wir zeigen, was wir können.“

    Teamchef Daniel Schellhaas resümierte: „Ein Wochenende mit vielen Emotionen. Der turbulente Start am Samstag hat es uns nicht leicht gemacht, aber die Reaktion am Sonntag mit dem Sieg und dem Doppelpodium war genau das, was wir sehen wollten. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an unseren Partner AVIA für den tollen Support vor Ort – das hat uns sichtlich Rückenwind gegeben.“

    AVIA W&S Motorsport Battles Through a Difficult Weekend in Oschersleben

    Important points, a PRO/AM win and a look at the championship – next round at the Nürburgring

    Ofterdingen, 27 July 2026 – The third round of the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben was a demanding weekend for AVIA W&S Motorsport. The Balance of Performance presented the entire Porsche camp with challenges and never quite allowed the team to find its rhythm. Nevertheless, AVIA W&S Motorsport maximised what was possible, collected important points and sits just one point behind the top of the championship standings. It remains exciting.

    Thursday – Extensive Preparation

    On Thursday the team completed three test sessions and gathered plenty of kilometres. The drivers took away valuable insights – despite the challenges posed by the Balance of Performance, the preparation was an important step for the weekend.

    Friday – Free Practice

    In the two free practice sessions on Friday, the team logged further kilometres and prepared well for qualifying and the races. The starting position was solid.

    Qualifying 1 – Saturday

    Qualifying did not go entirely to plan, but the team was ready. The AVIA Porsche #30 of Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer took tenth in class and overall. The #31 of Lachlan Robinson and Denny Berndt placed eighth in class and overall. The #32 of Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still secured the class lead and 17th overall. The #33 of Frederic Zebis and Nicolas Guillaume finished eleventh in class and overall.

    Race 1 – A Good Race, a Bitter Incident

    The first race initially looked promising. The #31 of Robinson and Berndt fought its way up to seventh in class and overall. The AVIA Porsche #30 finished tenth in class and overall, the #33 eleventh in class and overall.

    A particular low point was the incident involving the #32 of Horrell and Still: the car was taken out through no fault of its own and beached in the gravel – especially frustrating as the two cars involved were not even in the same class. Hendrik Still was recovered from the gravel and was able to finish the race, but dropped from first to second in class. Still a battling result under the circumstances.

    Qualifying 2 – Sunday

    On Sunday the team showed an improvement. The #32 of Horrell and Still again secured the class lead and took fifth overall – a strong statement. The AVIA Porsche #30 took sixth in class and seventh overall, the #31 ninth in class and tenth overall, and the #33 tenth in class and eleventh overall.

    Race 2 – A PRO/AM Win and Rain

    The second race brought a little rain into play – and with it new opportunities. Denny Berndt used the wet phase cleverly and gained three positions. When the field bunched up again through a yellow phase, he defended his position strongly. In the end the #31 finished sixth in class and overall. The #32 of Horrell and Still once again took the class win and ninth overall – a deserved PRO/AM victory for the duo. The AVIA Porsche #30 with Schreyer and Gabbay finished ninth in class and tenth overall, the #33 eleventh in class and twelfth overall.

    Voices from the Weekend

    Maximilian Schreyer (#30) stayed positive despite everything: “A weekend with highs and lows. But we took away a lot of points. Many thanks to AVIA W&S Motorsport.”

    Denny Berndt (#31) was delighted with his strong performance in the rain: “I was able to make up a good three positions during the rain – through a yellow phase the field came back together. It was fun and I’m looking forward to the next races.”

    Tim Horrell (#32) was mixed in his assessment: “P1 in the PRO/AM classification is great. In the overall result I had hoped for more, but that’s racing. We’ll be back on the attack at the Nürburgring.”

    Frederic Zebis (#33) saw personal progress: “This weekend was a personal improvement for me – my pace got better day by day. That gives me confidence for the Nürburgring.”

    Team principal Daniel Schellhaas summed up: “It was a difficult weekend – we had no pace all weekend, and that applied to all the Porsches. We tried to extract the maximum and collected a lot of important points in the process. In the championship standings we sit just one point behind the top. It remains very exciting – and we’re looking forward to the Nürburgring.”

    Ofterdingen, 27.07.2026 – Der dritte Lauf der ADAC GT4 Germany in der Motorsport Arena Oschersleben war für AVIA W&S Motorsport ein anspruchsvolles Wochenende. Die Balance of Performance stellte das gesamte Porsche-Lager vor Herausforderungen und ließ das Team nie ganz in seinen Rhythmus finden. Dennoch maximierte AVIA W&S Motorsport das Mögliche, sammelte wichtige Punkte und steht in der Meisterschaftswertung nur einen Punkt hinter der Spitze. Es bleibt spannend.

    Donnerstag – Umfangreiche Vorbereitung

Die #33 von Frederic Zebis und Nicolas Guillaume belegte den elften Klassen- und Gesamtrang.

    Rennen 1 – Gutes Rennen, bitterer Zwischenfall

    Das erste Rennen verlief zunächst vielversprechend. Die #31 von Robinson und Berndt kämpfte sich auf den siebten Klassen- und Gesamtrang vor. Der AVIA Porsche #30 schloss auf dem zehnten Klassen- und Gesamtrang ab, die #33 auf dem elften Klassen- und Gesamtrang.

    Ein besonderer Wermutstropfen war der Zwischenfall mit der #32 von Horrell und Still: Das Fahrzeug wurde unverschuldet abgeschossen und im Kiesbett gestoppt – besonders ärgerlich, da die beiden involvierten Autos nicht einmal in derselben Klasse fuhren. Hendrik Still wurde aus dem Kiesbett befreit und konnte das Rennen zu Ende fahren, rutschte dabei jedoch von Klassenplatz eins auf Platz zwei zurück. Trotzdem ein kämpferisches Ergebnis unter den gegebenen Umständen.

    Qualifying 2 – Sonntag

    Am Sonntag zeigte das Team eine Steigerung. Die #32 von Horrell und Still sicherte sich erneut die Klassenführung und belegte den fünften Gesamtrang – ein starkes Zeichen. Der AVIA Porsche #30 fuhr auf den sechsten Klassenrang und siebten Gesamtrang, die #31 auf den neunten Klassenrang und zehnten Gesamtrang, die #33 auf den zehnten Klassenrang und elften Gesamtrang.

    Rennen 2 – PRO/AM-Sieg und Regen

    Das zweite Rennen brachte etwas Regen ins Spiel – und damit neue Möglichkeiten. Denny Berndt nutzte die Regenphase clever und gewann drei Positionen. Als sich das Feld durch eine Gelbphase wieder zusammenschob, verteidigte er seine Platzierung stark. Am Ende fuhr die #31 auf den sechsten Klassen- und Gesamtrang. Die #32 von Horrell und Still holte erneut den Klassensieg und belegte den neunten Gesamtrang – ein verdienter PRO/AM-Sieg für das Duo. Der AVIA Porsche #30 mit Schreyer und Gabbay schloss auf dem neunten Klassenrang und zehnten Gesamtrang ab, die #33 auf dem elften Klassenrang und zwölften Gesamtrang.

    Stimmen zum Wochenende

    Maximilian Schreyer (#30) blickte trotz allem positiv: „Ein Wochenende mit Höhen und Tiefen. Wir haben aber viele Punkte mitgenommen. Vielen Dank an AVIA W&S Motorsport.“

    Denny Berndt (#31) freute sich über seine starke Leistung im Regen: „Ich konnte während des Regens gute drei Positionen gutmachen – durch eine Gelbphase kam das Feld wieder zusammen. Es hat Spaß gemacht und ich freue mich auf die nächsten Rennen.“

    Tim Horrell (#32) zeigte sich gemischt zufrieden: „P1 in der PRO/AM-Wertung ist super. Im Gesamtergebnis hätte ich mir mehr erhofft, aber das ist Racing. Wir greifen am Nürburgring wieder an.“

    Frederic Zebis (#33) sah eine persönliche Entwicklung: „Dieses Wochenende war für mich persönlich eine Verbesserung – meine Pace wurde Tag für Tag besser. Das gibt mir Vertrauen für den Nürburgring.“

    Teamchef Daniel Schellhaas bilanzierte: „Es war ein schwieriges Wochenende – wir hatten das gesamte Wochenende keine Pace, und das galt für alle Porsche. Wir haben versucht, das Maximum herauszuholen und dabei viele wichtige Punkte gesammelt. In der Meisterschaftswertung stehen wir nur einen Punkt hinter der Spitze. Es bleibt sehr spannend – und wir freuen uns auf den Nürburgring.“

    Two race wins, a strong team performance and important points at the second round of the season

    Ofterdingen, 6 July 2026 – What a weekend. At the second round of the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Norisring, AVIA W&S Motorsport made a resounding statement. A double pole in the first race, a triple pole in the second race, several race wins and a team performance that sent an important signal after the past weeks: AVIA W&S Motorsport is right at the front – and how.

    Free Practice

    Already in free practice it became clear that the team was strongly positioned at the Norisring. In the first session the #30 of Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer placed third in class and third overall, while the #31 of Lachlan Robinson and Denny Berndt took second in class and overall. The #32 of Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still finished second in class and eleventh overall, and the #33 of Frederic Zebis and Nicolas Guillaume was 15th in class and 17th overall.

    In the second session the team stepped it up again: the #30 moved to second in class and overall, the #32 even took the class lead and was sixth overall. The #31 placed tenth in class and twelfth overall, the #33 13th in class and 15th overall.

    Qualifying – A Triple Pole for AVIA W&S Motorsport

    Qualifying became the real highlight of the weekend. In Q1 the #31 of Robinson and Berndt secured the overall pole and first place in class. The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer took second in class and overall. The #32 was second in class and 17th overall, the #33 eleventh in class and twelfth overall.

    In Q2 the #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer turned the tables and claimed the overall pole as well as first place in class. The #31 followed in second in class and overall, the #32 again took the class lead and was third overall, while the #33 placed twelfth in class and 14th overall. That put the three AVIA W&S Porsche in the overall positions one, two and three – a triple pole that filled the entire team with pride and, after the past weeks, showed that the squad can run right at the front of this series.

    Race 1 – Joy and Pain

    The first race was a weekend in miniature – elation and disappointment lay close together.

    The absolute highlight came from the #31 of Robinson and Berndt and the #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer: Robinson and Berndt drove to first overall and first in class, with Gabbay and Schreyer following in second overall and in class. A one-two that delighted the whole team.

    But Race 1 also brought bitter moments. When Tim Horrell came in for the driver change, a tyre blister was discovered on the #32 – the tyre had bulged from overheating without bursting. The tyre was changed quickly, but after one lap Hendrik Still had to return to the box – a brake problem forced the duo to retire. Things went unluckily for the #33 of Zebis and Guillaume too: on the final lap the car was spun and suffered a tyre blowout as a result – the race was over prematurely.

    Race 2 – Dominance from the Triple Pole

    Starting from the triple pole, AVIA W&S Motorsport put in an impressive performance on Sunday. The cooler temperatures worked in the team’s favour as well. The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer drove to first overall and first in class – another race win. The #31 of Robinson and Berndt followed in second in class and overall. After the retirement in Race 1, the #32 of Horrell and Still took first place in the PRO/AM classification and a strong first overall in its class. For the #33 of Zebis and Guillaume the weekend ended early once more: contact forced the duo to pull off prematurely.

    Ofterdingen, 06.07.2026 – Was für ein Wochenende. AVIA W&S Motorsport hat beim zweiten Lauf der ADAC GT4 Germany am Norisring ein Statement gesetzt, das sich gewaschen hat. Double-Pole im ersten Rennen, Triple-Pole im zweiten Rennen, mehrere Rennsiege und eine Teamleistung, die nach den vergangenen Wochen ein wichtiges Signal sendete: AVIA W&S Motorsport ist vorne dabei – und wie.

    Freies Training

    Bereits im freien Training deutete sich an, dass das Team am Norisring stark aufgestellt ist. Im ersten Training platzierte sich der #30 von Alon Gabbay und Maximilian Schreyer auf dem dritten Klassenplatz und dritten Gesamtrang, der #31 von Lachlan Robinson und Denny Berndt auf dem zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang. Der #32 von Tim Horrell und Hendrik Still fuhr auf den zweiten Klassenrang und elften Gesamtrang, der #33 von Frederic Zebis und Nicolas Guillaume auf Klassenplatz 15 und Gesamtrang 17.

    Im zweiten Training steigerte sich das Team nochmals: Der #30 fuhr auf den zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang, der #32 übernahm sogar die Klassenführung und wurde Sechster im Gesamtfeld. Der #31 belegte Klassenrang zehn und Gesamtrang zwölf, der #33 Klassenrang 13 und Gesamtrang 15.

    Qualifying – Triple-Pole für AVIA W&S Motorsport

    Das Qualifying geriet zum echten Highlight des Wochenendes. In Q1 sicherte sich der #31 von Robinson und Berndt die Gesamtpole und den ersten Klassenplatz. Der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer fuhr auf den zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang. Der #32 belegte den zweiten Klassenrang und Gesamtrang 17, der #33 den elften Klassenrang und zwölften Gesamtrang.

    In Q2 drehte der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer den Spieß um und sicherte sich die Gesamtpole sowie den ersten Klassenplatz. Der #31 folgte auf dem zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang, der #32 holte erneut die Klassenführung und wurde Dritter im Gesamtfeld, der #33 belegte Klassenrang zwölf und Gesamtrang 14. Damit standen die drei AVIA W&S Porsche auf den Gesamtpositionen eins, zwei und drei – eine Triple-Pole, die das gesamte Team mit Stolz erfüllte und nach den vergangenen Wochen zeigte, dass man in dieser Serie ganz vorne mitfahren kann.

    Rennen 1 – Freude und Schmerz

    Das erste Rennen war ein Wochenende in Miniaturform – Jubel und Enttäuschung lagen eng beieinander.

    Den absoluten Höhepunkt setzten der #31 von Robinson und Berndt sowie der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer: Robinson und Berndt fuhren auf den ersten Gesamtrang und ersten Klassenplatz, Gabbay und Schreyer folgten auf dem zweiten Gesamt- und Klassenrang. Ein Doppelerfolg, der das gesamte Team begeisterte.

    Doch gleichzeitig brachte Rennen 1 auch bittere Momente. Als Tim Horrell für den Fahrerwechsel hereinkam, wurde am #32 eine Reifenblase festgestellt – der Reifen hatte sich durch Überhitzung aufgewölbt, ohne zu platzen. Der Reifen wurde schnell gewechselt, doch nach einer Runde musste Hendrik Still erneut an die Box – ein Bremsproblem zwang das Duo zum Aufgeben. Für den #33 von Zebis und Guillaume lief es ebenfalls unglücklich: In der letzten Runde wurde das Fahrzeug gedreht und erlitt dadurch einen Reifenplatzer – das Rennen war vorzeitig beendet.

    Rennen 2 – Dominanz von der Triple-Pole

    Von der Triple-Pole gestartet, legte AVIA W&S Motorsport am Sonntag eine beeindruckende Vorstellung hin. Die kühleren Temperaturen kamen dem Team zusätzlich zugute. Der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer fuhr auf den ersten Gesamtrang und ersten Klassenplatz – ein weiterer Rennsieg. Der #31 von Robinson und Berndt folgte auf dem zweiten Klassen- und Gesamtrang. Der #32 von Horrell und Still holte nach dem Ausfall in Rennen 1 den ersten Platz in der PRO/AM-Wertung und fuhr auf den starken ersten Gesamtrang in seiner Klasse. Für den #33 von Zebis und Guillaume endete das Wochenende erneut früh: Eine Berührung zwang das Duo zum vorzeitigen Abstellen.

    Frederic Zebis (#33) gab sich kämpferisch: „Das war nicht das Wochenende, das wir uns gewünscht hatten. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir stärker zurück.“

    Four podiums, a strong team performance and important points at the season opener at the Red Bull Ring

    A great feeling to start the season: AVIA W&S Motorsport made a strong statement at the opening weekend of the ADAC GT4 Germany 2026 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. With four Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS and eight drivers, the team from Ofterdingen entered the season – and from the very beginning collected important kilometres, points and insights on one of the most beautiful race tracks in Europe.

    A Top-Class Opening Weekend

    The ADAC GT4 Germany ranks among the most attractive and most fiercely contested GT4 series in the world. At the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, a circuit known for its high driving demands and spectacular overtaking opportunities, there was nothing to give away at the season opener. With several drivers completing their first kilometres in the ADAC GT4 Germany, anticipation ahead of the weekend was particularly high – and the result could be seen.

    Practice

    The practice sessions went promisingly. All four cars logged plenty of kilometres and dialled in their setups well. Especially for the newcomers in the series, the first contact with the track and the car in race trim was an important step – one that the entire line-up handled with confidence.

    Qualifying

    Qualifying turned into a true opening fireworks display for AVIA W&S Motorsport. In Q1, three cars claimed the class lead at once: the #31 of Lachlan Robinson and Denny Berndt set the overall pole. The #32 of Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still as well as the #33 of Frederic Zebis and Nicolas Guillaume also each took pole position in their class. The #30 of Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer rounded off the strong picture with third overall. With that, all four AVIA W&S Porsches placed in the overall Top 8 – an impressive statement at the season opener.

    In Q2, the team confirmed its strong form: the #30 took second overall, the #31 third overall, the #32 again secured the class lead and was fifth overall, and the #33 also took the class lead and sixth overall. Once again all four cars placed in the Top 6 – an impressive team performance before the first race had even begun.

    Race 1

    The first race developed into a thrilling duel that AVIA W&S Motorsport shaped from the very first to the very last lap. The #31 of Robinson and Berndt fought through the dense field from the start, defended its position under pressure and used a perfectly executed pit stop to settle into second overall.

    The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer engaged in a long, intense duel with a BMW – overtakes, counter-moves, close wheel-to-wheel battles lap after lap. In the end, the duo prevailed and brought the car home in third overall.

    The #32 of Horrell and Still raced strategically smart. With a clean driver change and a clever race strategy, the duo worked their way steadily forward, securing first place in the PRO/AM classification and eighth overall – a valuable win for the championship.

    For the #33, the first race ended prematurely: Frederic Zebis had to retire due to a technical problem. He and Nicolas Guillaume had previously shown a strong performance and held the Porsche in a good position.

    Race 2

    The second race offered plenty of action from the start. The #31 of Robinson and Berndt got off to another strong start, held its own in close battles, and benefited from another flawless pit stop – the duo took third overall and once again collected important championship points.

    The #30 of Gabbay and Schreyer had a tougher second race: after contact, the car could no longer fully maintain its original pace. Despite the adverse circumstances, the duo continued to fight and brought the Porsche home in fifth – a strong sign of fighting spirit.

    Horrell and Still in the #32 again delivered a convincing PRO/AM performance in the second race, taking another class win and tenth overall.

    Zebis and Guillaume in the #33 produced an impressive response to the retirement in Race 1. With clean driving and a clever strategy, they fought their way to second in class and eleventh overall – the deserved reward for a determined race.

    Voices from the Weekend

    Denny Berndt (#31) was satisfied: “A good weekend lies behind us – four podiums in the overall and junior classifications. We can still improve in some areas, but I am convinced that we will come back even stronger at the Norisring. Many thanks to Lachlan and the entire AVIA W&S team for an all-round strong weekend.”

    Tim Horrell and Hendrik Still (#32) looked back positively: “All in all, it was a good weekend. We fought hard and gathered a lot of kilometres. For the PRO/AM class it was great – two class wins and important points collected.”

    Alon Gabbay and Maximilian Schreyer (#30) saw potential for more: “It was tough racing. We collected a lot of points and would have wished for more, but the pace was good. We continue to look ahead.”

    Team principal Daniel Schellhaas concluded: “It was a great weekend in perfect weather. We scored a lot of important points and I am proud of the entire team performance. All drivers developed well, the PRO/AM classification is going excellently and the juniors are doing a fantastic job. We are looking forward to the next races.”

    Ein Mega-Feeling zum Saisonstart: AVIA W&S Motorsport hat beim ersten Rennwochenende der ADAC GT4 Germany 2026 am Red Bull Ring in Spielberg ein starkes Ausrufezeichen gesetzt. Mit vier Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS und acht Fahrern ging das Team aus Ofterdingen in die Saison – und sammelte auf einer der schönsten Rennstrecken Europas von Beginn an wichtige Kilometer, Punkte und Erkenntnisse.

    Hochklassiges Auftakt-Wochenende

    Die ADAC GT4 Germany zählt zu den attraktivsten und am härtesten umkämpften GT4-Serien weltweit. Auf dem Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, einer Strecke, die für ihr fahrerisches Anspruchsniveau und spektakuläre Überholmöglichkeiten bekannt ist, gab es zum Saisonauftakt nichts zu verschenken. Da einige Fahrer ihre ersten Kilometer in der ADAC GT4 Germany absolvierten, war die Spannung vor dem Wochenende besonders hoch – und das Ergebnis konnte sich sehen lassen.

    Training

    Die Trainingseinheiten verliefen vielversprechend. Alle vier Fahrzeuge sammelten zahlreiche Kilometer und kamen gut ins Setup. Gerade für die Neulinge in der Serie war der erste Kontakt mit Strecke und Fahrzeug im Renntrimm ein wichtiger Schritt – den das gesamte Aufgebot souverän meisterte.

    Qualifying

In Q1 sicherten sich gleich drei Fahrzeuge die Klassenführung: Der #31 von Lachlan Robinson und Denny Berndt fuhr auf die Gesamtpole. Der #32 von Tim Horrell und Hendrik Still sowie der #33 von Frederic Zebis und Nicolas Guillaume holten ebenfalls jeweils die Pole in ihrer Klasse. Der #30 von Alon Gabbay und Maximilian Schreyer komplettierte das starke Bild mit dem dritten Gesamtrang. Damit platzierten sich alle vier AVIA W&S Porsche in den Top 8 des Gesamtklassements – ein eindrucksvolles Statement zum Saisonauftakt.

Erneut platzierten sich alle vier Fahrzeuge in den Top 6 – eine beeindruckende Teamleistung bereits vor dem ersten Rennen.

    Das erste Rennen entwickelte sich zu einem packenden Duell, das AVIA W&S Motorsport von der ersten bis zur letzten Runde prägte. Der #31 von Robinson und Berndt kämpfte sich von Beginn an durch das dichte Feld, verteidigte seine Position unter Druck und nutzte einen perfekt ausgeführten Boxenstopp, um sich endgültig auf dem zweiten Gesamtplatz festzusetzen.

    Der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer lieferte sich ein langes, intensives Duell mit einem BMW – Überholmanöver, Konter, enge Zweikämpfe Runde für Runde. Am Ende behielt das Duo die Oberhand und fuhr den dritten Gesamtrang ins Ziel.

    Der #32 von Horrell und Still agierte strategisch klug. Mit einem sauberen Fahrerwechsel und einer cleveren Rennstrategie arbeitete sich das Duo kontinuierlich nach vorne und sicherte sich den ersten Klassenplatz in der PRO/AM-Wertung sowie Gesamtrang acht – ein wertvoller Sieg für die Meisterschaft.

    Für den #33 verlief das erste Rennen leider vorzeitig: Frederic Zebis musste das Rennen aufgrund eines Ausfalls beenden. Nicolas Guillaume und er hatten sich zuvor jedoch stark präsentiert und den Porsche in einer guten Position gehalten.

    Das zweite Rennen bot von Beginn an reichlich Action. Der #31 von Robinson und Berndt startete erneut stark, behauptete sich in engen Zweikämpfen und profitierte von einem weiteren makellosen Boxenstopp – das Duo fuhr auf den dritten Gesamtplatz und sammelte erneut wichtige Punkte für die Meisterschaft.

    Der #30 von Gabbay und Schreyer hatte es im zweiten Rennen schwerer: Nach einer Berührung konnte das Fahrzeug die ursprüngliche Pace nicht mehr voll aufrechterhalten. Trotz der widrigen Umstände kämpfte das Duo weiter und brachte den Porsche auf dem fünften Platz ins Ziel – ein starkes Zeichen des Kampfgeists.

    Horrell und Still im #32 lieferten auch im zweiten Rennen eine überzeugende PRO/AM-Vorstellung. Das Duo holte erneut den Klassensieg und Gesamtrang zehn.

    Zebis und Guillaume im #33 zeigten nach dem Ausfall in Rennen 1 eine eindrucksvolle Reaktion. Mit sauberer Fahrweise und einer klugen Strategie kämpften sie sich auf den zweiten Klassenrang und Gesamtplatz elf vor – die verdiente Belohnung für ein entschlossenes Rennen.

    Stimmen zum Wochenende

    Denny Berndt (#31) zeigte sich zufrieden: „Ein gutes Wochenende liegt hinter uns – vier Podien in der Gesamt- und Juniorwertung. Wir können uns an einigen Stellen noch verbessern, aber ich bin überzeugt, dass wir am Norisring stärker zurückkommen. Vielen Dank an Lachlan und das gesamte AVIA W&S Team für das rundum starke Wochenende.“

    Tim Horrell und Hendrik Still (#32) blickten positiv zurück: „Es war alles in allem ein gutes Wochenende. Wir haben viel gekämpft und Kilometer gesammelt. Für die PRO/AM-Wertung war es super – zweimal Klassensieger und wichtige Punkte eingesammelt.“

    Alon Gabbay und Maximilian Schreyer (#30) sahen noch Potenzial nach oben: „Es waren harte Kämpfe. Wir haben viele Punkte eingesammelt und hätten uns mehr gewünscht, aber die Pace war gut. Wir schauen weiter nach vorne.“

    Teamchef Daniel Schellhaas bilanzierte: „Es war ein tolles Wochenende bei bestem Wetter. Wir haben viele wichtige Punkte gesammelt und ich bin stolz auf die gesamte Teamleistung. Alle Fahrer haben sich gut entwickelt, die PRO/AM-Wertung läuft hervorragend und die Junioren machen einen tollen Job. Wir freuen uns auf die nächsten Rennen.“
