W&S Motorsport erlebt Höhen und Tiefen bei NLS 3

Klassenpodium, starke Ergebnisse und technische Rückschläge beim Vierstundenrennen auf dem Nürburgring


Beim dritten Lauf der Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie zeigte W&S Motorsport erneut, was in dem Team steckt. Der CMS Porsche sicherte sich die Pole-Position im Qualifying, der CK-Modelcars Porsche holte einen starken zweiten Platz in der Cup3-AM-Wertung und der Häberle Porsche fuhr solide auf P4. Trotz einiger technischer Rückschläge bei anderen Fahrzeugen nimmt das Team viele positive Erkenntnisse mit – und blickt voller Zuversicht auf das 24h-Rennen. 

 

Qualifying 

In der Qualifikation setzte der CMS Porsche #962 mit Lorenz Stegmann, Moritz Oberheim und Finn Zulauf das erste Ausrufezeichen und sicherte sich die Pole-Position in der Cup3-Klasse. Der Häberle Porsche #961 mit Marius Rauer, Michalš und Toby Goodman startete von Position fünf. Der Massivhaus Porsche #164 qualifizierte sich für Platz drei in der SP10. Für den CK-Modelcars Porsche # mit Christoph Krombach, Oliver Kunz und Lion Düker bedeutete viel Verkehr auf der Nordschleife Platz 11 im Gesamtklassement.  

 

Rennen 

Das Vierstundenrennen verlief für die fünf W&S-Fahrzeuge sehr unterschiedlich.

Der CMS Porsche #962 startete stark von der Pole und konnte seine Position zunächst halten. Im weiteren Rennverlauf fiel das Trio jedoch zurück, kämpfte sich aber eindrucksvoll wieder nach vorne. Mehrere Vorfälle auf der Strecke kosteten das Team rund 40 Sekunden – dennoch gelang es der Besatzung, wieder Boden gutzumachen und das Fahrzeug auf dem dritten Platz der Cup3-Klasse ins Ziel zu bringen.

Für den Häberle Porsche #961 verlief das Rennen solide. Von Startposition fünf kämpfte sich die Besatzung um Marius Rauer, Michal Makeš und Toby Goodman zuverlässig durch das Feld und beendete das Rennen auf P4 in der Cup 3 – PRO Wertung. 

Der Cars&Events BMW M2 #899 kam mit einem Schaden zurück in die Box – das Team reagierte schnell und konnte alles reparieren, schickte das Fahrzeug zurück auf die Strecke und die Jungs versuchten das Feld wieder einzuholen und kam auf dem 5. Platz ins Ziel.

Der CK-Modelcars Porsche #982 hatte mit viel Verkehr auf der Nordschleife zu kämpfen, kämpfte sich aber kontinuierlich nach vorne und brachte das Fahrzeug auf einem wirklich starken 2. Platz in der Cup 3 AM Wertung ins Ziel.

Der Massivhaus Porsche #164 mit Stephan Brodmerkel, Constantin Schöll und Yanis Anhorn hatte mit Technischen Problemen zu kämpfen. Trotz dieser Rückschläge brachten sie das Fahrzeug auf dem siebten Rang ins Ziel.

Fazit 

Michal Makeš (#961) zeigte sich zufrieden: „Insgesamt ein gutes Wochenende für uns – P4 am Ende ist ein weiteres solides Ergebnis und wichtige Punkte für die Meisterschaft. Mein Stint war sehr intensiv mit vielen Zweikämpfen – genau das macht den Langstreckensport aus. Jetzt freue ich mich auf das 24h-Rennen.”

Max Lamesch (#899) sammelte wichtige Erfahrungen: „Die ersten 16 Runden im neuen BMW M2 waren wertvoll. Nach dem technischen Defekt war das Rennen früh unterbrochen – doch nach 35 Minuten Reparaturzeit konnten wir wieder rausfahren und weitere Kilometer sammeln. Die Pace war in Ordnung, es gibt noch Luft nach oben, aber insgesamt war es ein konstruktives Wochenende – genau das, was wir als Vorbereitung auf das 24h-Rennen gebraucht haben.”

Stephan Brodmerkel (#164) nahm es mit Humor: „Wir haben wirklich alles getestet, was man vor dem 24h-Rennen testen kann – Dreher, Getriebeprobleme, Zeitsstrafe, reduzierter Tank und unzählige Code-60-Phasen. Am Ende sind wir ins Ziel gekommen und konnten noch einige Plätze gutmachen. Der Speed ist da – jetzt arbeiten wir an der Perfektion. Denn es wartet die größte Sportveranstaltung der Welt auf uns.”

Yanis Anhorn (#164) blickte nach vorne: „Es war mein erstes Mal im Porsche GT4 – ich war nervös und aufgeregt zugleich. Ich habe alles gegeben. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich nicht vollständig zufrieden, aber ich nehme viele Erfahrungen mit und schaue positiv auf das 24h-Rennen.”

Teammanager Axel Randolph bilanzierte: „Es war ein Wochenende mit Höhen und Tiefen. Die technischen Probleme ärgern uns natürlich – aber das gehört zum Langstreckensport dazu. Wir analysieren alles sorgfältig und finden heraus und stellen sicher, dass wir beim nächsten Lauf wieder voll angreifen können.”

    Class Podium, Strong Results and Technical Setbacks at the Four-Hour Race on the Nürburgring


    At the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, W&S Motorsport once again demonstrated the strength and depth of the team. The CMS Porsche claimed pole position in qualifying, the CK-Modelcars Porsche secured a strong second place in the Cup3 AM class, and the Häberle Porsche delivered a solid fourth-place finish. Despite some technical setbacks for other entries, the team takes plenty of positive lessons from the weekend – and looksahead to the 24h race with great confidence. 

     

    Qualifying 

    In qualifying, the CMS Porsche #962 of Lorenz Stegmann, Moritz Oberheim and Finn Zulauf made an immediate statement by claiming pole position in the Cup3 class. The Häberle Porsche #961 of Marius Rauer, Michal Makešand Toby Goodman lined up fifth on the grid. The Massivhaus Porsche #164 qualified third in the SP10 class. Heavy traffic on the Nordschleife limited the CK-Modelcars Porsche #982 of Christoph Krombach, Oliver Kunz and Lion Düker to eleventh place overall. 

     

    Race 

    The four-hour race played out very differently for each of the five W&S Motorsport entries.

    The CMS Porsche #962 made a strong start from pole and initially held its position. The trio dropped back during the race but fought its way impressively back through the field. Several incidents on track cost the crew around 40 seconds – yet they refused to give up, recovered ground and brought the car home in third place in the Cup3 Pro class.

    The Häberle Porsche #961 delivered a composed and reliable performance. From fifth on the grid, the crew of Marius Rauer, Michal Makeš and Toby Goodman worked their way steadily through the field and crossed the line in fourth place in the Cup3 Pro class.

    The Cars&Events BMW M2 #899 was forced to return to the pits with damage. The team reacted swiftly, completed all necessary repairs and sent the car back out on track, where the crew pushed hard to recover and ultimatelyfinished fifth.

    The CK-Modelcars Porsche #982 faced heavy traffic throughout the race on the Nordschleife but kept pushing continuously, eventually bringing the car home in an impressive second place in the Cup3 AM class.

    The Massivhaus Porsche #164 of Stephan Brodmerkel, Constantin Schöll and Yanis Anhorn encountered a series of technical issues during the race. Despite these setbacks, the crew never gave up and brought the car home in seventh place.

    Voices After the Race 

    Michal Makeš (#961): “Overall a good weekend for us – P4 is another solid result and important points for the championship. My stint was very intense with plenty of battles, which is exactly what endurance racing is all about. Now I’m really looking forward to the 24h race.”

    Max Lamesch (#899): “The first 16 laps in the new BMW M2 were really valuable. After the technical issue we were forced to stop early, but after 35 minutes of repairs we were back out on track gaining more laps and experience. The pace was decent, there is still room to improve, but overall it was a constructive weekend – exactly the preparation we needed heading into the 24h race.”

    Stephan Brodmerkel (#164): “We really did test everything you could possibly test before the 24h race – a spin, gearbox issues, a time penalty, a reduced fuel load and countless Code 60 phases. In the end we made it to the finish and recovered a few positions. The speed is there – now we need to work on perfection. Because the biggest motorsport event in the world is waiting for us.”

    Yanis Anhorn (#164): “It was my first time in the Porsche GT4 – I was nervous and excited at the same time. I gave everything I had. I’m not fully satisfied with the result, but I’m taking a lot of experience from this weekend and I’m looking forward to the 24h race with a positive mindset.”

    Team Manager Axel Randolph: “It was a weekend of highs and lows. The technical issues are frustrating, of course – but that is part of endurance racing. We will analyse everything carefully and make sure we come back strongerat the next round.”

    NLS 2: Double Pole, Thrilling Four-Way Battle and Three Podiums for W&S Motorsport

    Bright sunshine, an exceptionally large crowd, and a real event atmosphere: NLS 2 at the Nürburgring felt like a season opener—after last week’s round had to be cancelled. Extra attention in the paddock came from a special guest as well: Max Verstappen.

    On track, W&S Motorsport made a statement as early as qualifying: a double pole position in Cup 3 with the CMS Porsche (#962) and the Häberle Porsche (#961). The race then delivered a thrilling four-way battle in the opening third, with our drivers holding their ground and confirming the pace of the overall package. In the end, W&S Motorsport recorded three podium finishes—despite an unfortunate technical retirement.

    Strong individual performances across the classes 

    #961 (Häberle) – P2 Cup 3 Pro/Am

    Over the full distance, the car delivered a strong and controlled performance and was rewarded with second place in the Pro/Am classification. A result that underlines the performance of the entire package—and an important step toward fighting at the front right from the start of the season.

    #982 (CK Modellcars) – P3 Cup 3 AM

    In the AM classification, the team secured another podium with third place. Despite an incident caused by oil on the track, the car stayed in the race, fought back, and brought the result home.

    #899 (Cars&Events) – P3 BMW M2

    A particularly strong weekend in the BMW M2 as well: after successfully completing the permit requirement, the next milestone followed immediately. With a podium finish, solid pace, and a clean race, this was a clear statement—and an important confirmation that the step up to this level is working.

    #164 (Massivhaus) – P7 SP10

    The car ran reliably throughout and collected valuable race mileage and data with P7 in SP10. Especially in these conditions and heavy traffic, it was a solid result with a view to the upcoming rounds.

    #962 (CMS) – DNF after technical issue

    The bitter moment of the weekend: while fighting for victory, the car had to be retired early due to an unexpected gearbox failure. The cause is now being analysed to ensure the team can attack at full strength again atthe next race.

     

    Quotes from the weekend:

    Lion Düker (#982): “It was a really good day. Qualifying was mega and the race felt good too, even though we still have a few things to work on. Because of oil on the track we had a small incident and made light contact, but we were able to continue—and in the end what matters is that we brought the result home.”

    Toby Godmann (#961): “I’m really happy. The first race is always a bit crazy, but it looks like it’s going to be a really good competition. My teammates did a mega job and I’m very happy with how we work together as a team.”

    Michael Makes (#961): “For me it was my first race in Cup 3 and also in the Cayman. I had a lot of fun, there were good battles and the pace was strong. I’m really happy with the result and I’m looking forward to the next race.”

    Axel Randolph (Team Management): “All in all it was a great weekend. Of course it’s extremely unfortunate that our CMS car retired. But we’re looking ahead, taking the positives with us, and we’re already looking forward to the next race.”

     

    Outlook : 

    NLS 2 showed just how close and high-level the season will be—and that W&S Motorsport can run at the front in multiple classes together with the Häberle, CMS, Massivhaus and CK Modellcars Porsches, as well as the Cars&Events BMW. With double pole, three podium finishes, and a strong team performance, we now focus on the next steps: finalise the analysis, optimise the details, and attack again at full strength in the next round.

    NLS 2: Doppel-Pole, packender Viererkampf und drei Podestplätze für W&S Motorsport

    Strahlender Sonnenschein, außergewöhnlich viele Besucher und echte Event-Atmosphäre: NLS 2 am Nürburgring fühlte sich wie ein Saisonauftakt an – nachdem der Lauf in der Vorwoche ausgefallen war. Zusätzliche Aufmerksamkeit brachte auch die besondere Prominenz im Fahrerlager – Max Verstappen.

    Sportlich setzte W&S Motorsport bereits im Qualifying ein Ausrufezeichen: Doppel-Pole mit dem CMS- (#962) und Häberle – Porsche (#961) in der Cup3. Im Rennen entwickelte sich direkt zu Beginn ein packender Viererkampf im ersten Renndrittel, in dem unsere Fahrer konsequent dagegenhielten und die Pace im Feld bestätigten. Am Ende standen für W&S Motorsport drei Podestplätze zu Buche – trotz eines unglücklichen technischen Ausfalls.

    Starke Einzelleistungen in den Klassen 

    #961 (Häberle) – P2 Cup 3 Pro/Am: Das Auto lieferte über die Distanz eine starke, kontrollierte Vorstellung ab und belohnte sich mit Platz zwei in der Pro/Am-Wertung. Ein Ergebnis, das die Performance des gesamten Pakets unterstreicht – und ein wichtiger Schritt, um in der Saison direkt vorne mitzumischen.

    #982 (CK Modelcars) – P3 Cup 3 AM: In der AM-Wertung sicherte sich das Team mit Platz drei den nächsten Podestplatz. Trotz eines Zwischenfalls durch Öl auf der Strecke blieb das Auto im Rennen, kämpfte sich zurück und brachte das Ergebnis ins Ziel.

    #899 (Cars&Events) – P3 BMW M2: Ein besonders starkes Wochenende auch im BMW M2: Mit dem bestandenen Permit-Erfolg folgte direkt ein weiterer Meilenstein. Mit Podium, solider Pace und einem sauberen Rennen war das ein Statement – und ein wichtiger Beleg, dass der Einstieg auf diesem Level sitzt.

    #164 (Massivhaus) – P7 SP10: Das Fahrzeug kam zuverlässig durch und sammelte mit P7 in SP10 wichtige Rennkilometer und Daten. Gerade bei den Bedingungen und dem dichten Verkehr war das ein solides Resultat mit Blick auf die nächsten Läufe.

    #962 (CMS) – DNF nach technischem Defekt: Bitterer Moment des Wochenendes: Das Auto musste nach einem überraschenden Getriebeschaden vorzeitig beim Kampf um den Sieg abgestellt werden. Die Ursache wird nun analysiert, um beim nächsten Rennen wieder voll angreifen zu können.

     

    Stimmen zum Wochenende: 

    Lion Düker (#982): „Der Tag war richtig gut. Das Qualifying war mega und auch das Rennen hat sich gut angefühlt, auch wenn wir noch an ein paar Punkten arbeiten. Durch Öl auf der Strecke hatten wir einen kleinen Zwischenfall und sind leicht eingeschlagen, aber wir konnten weiterfahren und am Ende zählt, dass wir das Ergebnis ins Ziel gebracht haben.“

    Toby Godmann (#961): „Ich bin wirklich glücklich. Das erste Rennen ist immer ein bisschen verrückt, aber es sieht nach einer richtig guten Competition aus. Meine Teamkollegen haben einen mega Job gemacht und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, wie wir als Team zusammenarbeiten.“

    Michael Makes (#961): „Für mich war es das erste Rennen in der Cup 3 und auch im Cayman. Ich hatte richtig viel Spaß, es gab gute Kämpfe und die Pace war gut. Ich bin wirklich happy mit der Platzierung und freue mich aufs nächste Rennen.“

    Axel Randolph (Teamleitung): „Alles in allem war es ein super Wochenende. Natürlich ist es extrem schade, dass unser CMS-Auto ausgefallen ist. Aber wir schauen nach vorne, nehmen die positiven Punkte mit und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Rennen.“

     

    Ausblick: 

    NLS 2 hat gezeigt, wie eng und hochklassig die Saison wird – und dass W&S Motorsport gemeinsam mit den Häberle, CMS, Massivhaus, CK Modelcars Porsche sowie dem Cars&Events BMW in mehreren Klassen vorne mitfahren kann. Mit Doppel-Pole, drei Podestplätzen und einer starken Teamleistung richten wir den Blick nach vorne: Analyse abschließen, Details optimieren und beim nächsten Lauf wieder voll attackieren.

    NLS 1 abgesagt – Saisonauftakt fällt dem Eifelwinter zum Opfer

    Das erste Rennwochenende der Saison war heiß ersehnt. Die Vorfreude im Team war riesig – aber auf eines ist in der Eifel eben Verlass: typisches Nürburgring-Wetter.

    Am Freitag lief zunächst alles nach Plan: W&S Motorsport konnte die Trainingssession wie vorgesehen absolvieren. Ein kurzerZwischenfall am Häberle Auto zeigte allerdings, wie tückisch die Bedingungen sein können – doch das Team bekam alles schnell wiederin den Griff. Danach war klar: Wir sind bereit für Samstag.

    Für NLS 1 war W&S Motorsport mit fünf Fahrzeugen am Start: den Porsche #164, #961, #962 und #982 sowie dem BMW M2 #899.

    Am Samstag folgte dann die nächste Wendung: Der Zeitplan wurde zunächst 2 Stunden nach hinten geschoben, ein Start war erst mitdeutlicher Verzögerung möglich. Zwar verbesserten sich die Streckenbedingungen leicht, doch die Temperaturen blieben zu niedrig.

    Am Ende stand die Sicherheit über allem: Aufgrund von Sicherheitsbedenken durch niedrige Temperaturen und Schneefall empfahlendie beteiligten Reifenhersteller der Serie, NLS 1 nicht auszutragen. Die Rennleitung folgte dieser Empfehlung – und das Rennen wurdeschließlich abgesagt.

    „Ich wäre gerne gefahren, aber Sicherheit geht vor. Natürlich ist es bitter, wenn man das ganze Wochenende darauf hinarbeitet – aberunter diesen Bedingungen ist die Entscheidung nachvollziehbar. Wir haben am Freitag sauber gearbeitet, das Team war bereit – jetztschauen wir nach vorne“, sagt Finn Zulauf.

    Auch Lion Düker bringt es auf den Punkt: „Der Saisonauftakt wurde aus Sicherheitsgründen abgesagt. Niedrige Temperaturen und Schneefall haben den Ablauf zunächst verzögert. Auch wenn sich die Bedingungen etwas verbessert haben, war es am Ende einfach zukalt für ein sicheres Rennen.“

    Und weil Motorsport auch Teamgeist ist, hat sich W&S Motorsport am Ende noch einen kleinen Spaß erlaubt: Wenn schon Winter am Ring – dann wurden kurzerhand die Ski für ein bisschen gute Laune ausgepackt.

    Ausblick: 

    Nach dem ausgefallenen Auftakt richtet sich der Fokus jetzt voll auf NLS 2. W&S Motorsport ist bereit – und will die erstenRennkilometer der Saison so schnell wie möglich auf die Strecke bringen.

    The first race weekend of the season was eagerly anticipated. Excitement within the team was huge — but in the Eifel, one thing is always reliable: typical Nürburgring weather.

    Friday initially went according to plan: W&S Motorsport completed the scheduled practice session as intended. A brief incident involving the Häberle car showed just how tricky the conditions could be — but the team quickly got everything back under control. After that, it was clear: we were ready for Saturday.

    For NLS 1, W&S Motorsport had five cars on the entry list: the Porsche #164, #961, #962 and #982, plus the BMW M2 #899.

    Saturday brought the next twist. The timetable was first pushed back by two hours, and the start was only possible with a significant delay. Although track conditions improved slightly, temperatures remained too low.

    In the end, safety came first: due to safety concerns caused by low temperatures and snowfall, the tyre manufacturers involved advised the series not to run NLS 1. Race Control followed that recommendation — and the race was ultimately cancelled.

    “I would have liked to race, but safety comes first. Of course it’s bitter when you work towards it all weekend — but under these conditions, the decision is understandable. We did a clean job on Friday, the team was ready — now we look ahead,” said Finn Zulauf.

    Lion Düker summed it up as well: “The season opener was cancelled for safety reasons. Low temperatures and snowfall initially delayed the schedule. Even though conditions improved a bit, in the end it was simply too cold for a safe race.”

    And because motorsport is also about team spirit, W&S Motorsport allowed themselves a small bit of fun in the end: if it’s winter at the Ring, then the skis came out for a moment of good cheer.

    Outlook: 

    After the cancelled opener, the focus now shifts fully to NLS 2. W&S Motorsport is ready — and wants to get the season’s first racing kilometres on track as soon as possible.

    Zwei Klassensiege und zwei Meistertitel beim großen Finale am Nürburgring

    W&S Motorsport hat die NLS-Saison 2025 mit einem perfekten Finale gekrönt. Beim abschließenden 1. NLS Sportwarte-Rennen – Final Race of Champions am Nürburgring sicherte sich das Team zwei Klassensiege und zwei Meistertitel. Der #165 AVIA Porsche wurde SP10-Meister, während der #962 CMS Porsche die Cup3 Pro-Meisterschaft gewann.

    SP10-Meisterschaft: AVIA Porsche #165 mit beeindruckender Performance
    Das AVIA Porsche 718 GT4 RS Team um Moritz Oberheim, Philip Miemois und Toby Goodman krönte eine starke Saison mit dem SP10-Meistertitel. Beim Finale startete das Team in der SP7-Klasse, da keine weiteren SP10-Fahrzeuge gemeldet waren. Die Meisterschaft wurde dennoch gewonnen, da das Team in Führung liegend zum letzten Lauf kam und in der SP10-Klasse keine Konkurrenz mehr antrat.

    Oberheim zeigte im Qualifying eine beeindruckende Leistung und fuhr direkt in der ersten Runde eine 8:21 Minuten. “Mit so einem GT4-Fahrzeug so eine Runde zu fahren, ist schon etwas Besonderes”, freute sich der Fahrer über die starke Rundenzeit.

    Im Rennen startete das Team von Position 19 im Gesamtklassement. Oberheim erwischte einen exzellenten Start und konnte in den ersten Runden sogar mit Cup2-Fahrzeugen mithalten. Das Team arbeitete sich bis auf Position 9 gesamt vor. “Philipp und Tobi haben in den sehr schwierigen Verhältnissen einen super Job gemacht und das Auto sicher ohne Berührung nach Hause gebracht”, lobte Oberheim seine Teamkollegen. Am Ende stand der Klassensieg in der SP7 sowie ein achter Platz im Gesamtklassement – ein herausragendes Top-Ten-Ergebnis mit einem GT4-Fahrzeug.

    Cup3 Pro-Meisterschaft: CMS Porsche #962 mit souveränem Sieg
    Der #962 CMS Porsche 718 GT4 CS mit Joshua Bednarski und Lorenz Stegmann zeigte beim Finale eine makellose Performance und sicherte sich sowohl den Klassensieg als auch den Cup3 Pro-Meistertitel.

    Im Qualifying qualifizierte sich das Team auf Position 2, nachdem sie lange auf der Pole-Position lagen. Das Team entschied sich strategisch gegen einen riskanten Angriff auf die Spitzenzeit, um sicher ins Rennen zu starten.
    Im Rennen übernahm Stegmann den Start und lieferte eine starke Leistung. Nach anderthalb bis zwei Runden auf Platz 2 konnte er an die Spitze vorrücken. Mit exzellenter Pace fühlte er sich sehr wohl im Auto und baute den Vorsprung kontinuierlich aus. Joshua Bednarski fuhr im zweiten Stint auf Regenreifen ebenfalls eine starke Performance und vergrößerte den Vorsprung weiter. Der dritte Stint verlief komfortabel: Das Team startete zunächst mit Regenreifen, wechselte dann auf Slicks und brachte das Rennen ohne Risiko sicher nach Hause.

    Massivhaus Porsche #164: Starker zweiter Platz
    Das #164 Massivhaus Porsche 718 GT4 RS Team mit Stephan Brodmerkel, Jürgen Vöhringer und Constantin Schöll komplettierte den Erfolg mit einem zweiten Platz.

    Constantin Schöll zeigte im Qualifying eine gute Leistung, wurde jedoch von einer Code-60-Phase ausgebremst. In der zweiten Runde war das Team deutlich schneller unterwegs, doch die Code-60-Phase zerstörte die Push-Lap. Ein weiterer Versuch mit bereits abgekühlten Reifen brachte nicht die erhoffte Verbesserung.

    Im Rennen übernahm Schöll den zweiten Stint unter schwierigen Bedingungen. Als er auf die Strecke fuhr, war unklar, ob Slicks oder Regenreifen die bessere Wahl waren. Es begann relativ bald stärker zu regnen, sodass er einen sehr nassen Stint absolvierte. Erst die letzten zwei Runden trocknete die Strecke wieder auf. Trotz der herausfordernden Verhältnisse konnte er in zweiter Position den Abstand zum Dritten kontinuierlich ausbauen. Stephan Brodmerkel übernahm den dritten Stint und brachte das Auto sicher auf Platz 2 ins Ziel. Das Team zeigte sich sehr zufrieden mit dem zweiten Platz.

    W&S Porsche #961: Solide Teamleistung auf Platz 4
    Das #961 W&S Porsche 718 GT4 CS Team mit Oliver Kunz, Peter Siebert und Lion Düker zeigte eine starke Teamleistung und erreichte den vierten Platz.

    Das Auto war hervorragend vorbereitet, und Lion Düker lieferte einen starken Startstint ab. Er machte einige Plätze gut und verteidigte seine Position auch gegen schnellere Gegner. Oliver Kunz fuhr bei extrem schwierigen Bedingungen das Auto auf Regenreifen sicher durch seinen Stint.

    Peter Siebert übernahm den Schlussstint auf Slicks, doch die Bedingungen wurden nochmals schwieriger. Das Team dachte, es würde immer trockener werden, doch zur Mitte von Sieberts Stint fing es wieder richtig ordentlich an zu regnen. “Ich bin heute zum ersten Mal froh, dass ich nicht noch eine Runde fahren musste”, kommentierte Siebert die schwierigen Verhältnisse. Trotz allem brachte er das Auto ohne Schaden ins Ziel, und das Team zeigte sich sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung.

    Bitterer Ausfall für CK-Modelcars Porsche #982
    Ein bitteres Ende erlebte das #982 CK-Modelcars Porsche 718 GT4 CS Team mit Christoph Krombach, Richard Jodexnis und René Höber. Nach einem durchwachsenen Qualifying auf Platz 3 in der Klasse kam es im Rennen unter sehr schwierigen Bedingungen zu einem schweren Unfall in der Hohenrain-Schikane.

    Es war der erste Saisonausfall für das Team – ein bitterer Moment. Trotz des Ausfalls sicherte sich das Team den Vizemeistertitel in der Cup3 AM-Klasse. Die wichtigste Nachricht war jedoch, dass René Höber nicht schwerer verletzt wurde. “Natürlich überwiegt die Freude, dass René nicht schwerer verletzt ist und hoffentlich schnell wieder fit wird”, betonte Krombach.

    Erfolgreiche Saison mit starkem Abschluss
    Mit zwei Klassensiegen, einem zweiten und einem vierten Platz sowie zwei Meistertiteln beendete W&S Motorsport eine herausragende NLS-Saison. Die SP10-Meisterschaft für den #165 AVIA Porsche und die Cup3 Pro-Meisterschaft für den #962 CMS Porsche krönen eine Saison voller Erfolge und unterstreichen die Leistungsfähigkeit des gesamten Teams.

    Two class victories and two championship titles at the grand finale at the Nürburgring

    W&S Motorsport concluded the 2025 NLS season with a perfect finale. At the final 1st NLS Sportwarte-Rennen – Final Race of Champions at the Nürburgring, the team secured two class victories and two championship titles. The #165 AVIA Porsche became SP10 champions, while the #962 CMS Porsche won the Cup3 Pro championship.

    SP10 Championship: AVIA Porsche #165 with impressive performance
    The AVIA Porsche 718 GT4 RS team of Moritz Oberheim, Philip Miemois and Toby Goodman crowned a strong season with the SP10 championship title. At the finale, the team competed in the SP7 class as no other SP10 vehicles were entered. The championship was still won as the team came into the final round leading and no competition entered in the SP10 class.

    Oberheim showed an impressive performance in qualifying, setting an 8:21 lap time on his very first lap. “To set such a lap time with a GT4 car is something special,” the driver said, pleased with the strong lap time.

    In the race, the team started from 19th position overall. Oberheim had an excellent start and was even able to keep pace with Cup2 cars in the opening laps. The team worked their way up to 9th overall. “Philip and Toby did a great job in very difficult conditions and brought the car home safely without contact,” Oberheim praised his teammates. The result was a class victory in SP7 and eighth place overall – an outstanding top-ten result with a GT4 car.

    Cup3 Pro Championship: CMS Porsche #962 with commanding victory
    The #962 CMS Porsche 718 GT4 CS with Joshua Bednarski and Lorenz Stegmann showed a flawless performance at the finale, securing both the class victory and the Cup3 Pro championship title.

    In qualifying, the team qualified in second position after holding pole position for a long time. The team strategically decided against a risky attack on the top time to ensure a safe race start.

    In the race, Stegmann took the start and delivered a strong performance. After one and a half to two laps in second place, he was able to move into the lead. With excellent pace, he felt very comfortable in the car and continuously extended the advantage. Joshua Bednarski also drove a strong performance in the second stint on rain tires and further increased the lead. The third stint was comfortable: the team initially started on rain tires, then switched to slicks and brought the race home safely without risk.

    Massivhaus Porsche #164: Strong second place
    The #164 Massivhaus Porsche 718 GT4 RS team of Stephan Brodmerkel, Jürgen Vöhringer and Constantin Schöll completed the success with a second-place finish.

    Constantin Schöll showed a good performance in qualifying but was hampered by a Code 60 phase. The team was significantly faster in the second lap, but the Code 60 phase destroyed the push lap. Another attempt with already cooled tires did not bring the hoped-for improvement.

    In the race, Schöll took over the second stint under difficult conditions. When he went out on track, it was unclear whether slicks or rain tires were the better choice. It began to rain more heavily relatively soon, so he completed a very wet stint. Only in the last two laps did the track dry up again. Despite the challenging conditions, he was able to continuously extend the gap to third place from second position. Stephan Brodmerkel took over the third stint and brought the car safely home in second place. The team was very satisfied with second place.

    W&S Porsche #961: Solid team performance in fourth place
    The #961 W&S Porsche 718 GT4 CS team of Oliver Kunz, Peter Siebert and Lion Düker showed a strong team performance and finished in fourth place.

    The car was excellently prepared, and Lion Düker delivered a strong opening stint. He gained several positions and defended his place even against faster opponents. Oliver Kunz drove the car safely through his stint on rain tires in extremely difficult conditions.

    Peter Siebert took over the final stint on slicks, but conditions became even more difficult. The team thought it would get drier, but in the middle of Siebert’s stint it began to rain heavily again. “For the first time today, I’m glad I didn’t have to drive another lap,” Siebert commented on the difficult conditions. Despite everything, he brought the car home without damage, and the team was very satisfied with the performance.

    Bitter retirement for CK-Modelcars Porsche #982
    The #982 CK-Modelcars Porsche 718 GT4 CS team of Christoph Krombach, Richard Jodexnis and René Höber experienced a bitter ending. After a mixed qualifying in third place in class, a serious accident occurred in the race under very difficult conditions at the Hohenrain chicane.

    It was the team’s first retirement of the season – a bitter moment. Despite the retirement, the team secured the vice-championship title in the Cup3 AM class. However, the most important news was that René Höber was not more seriously injured. “Of course, the joy that René was not more seriously injured and will hopefully recover quickly outweighs everything,” Krombach emphasized.

    Successful season with strong finish
    With two class victories, a second and a fourth place, as well as two championship titles, W&S Motorsport concluded an outstanding NLS season. The SP10 championship for the #165 AVIA Porsche and the Cup3 Pro championship for the #962 CMS Porsche crown a season full of success and underline the performance capability of the entire team.

    W&S Motorsport celebrated a sensational double victory at the KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen of the NLS. The team secured class wins in both the SP10 class and the Cup3 category. The originally planned 6-hour season highlight had to be shortened to 4.5 hours due to fog.

    SP10: Dominant Victory for AVIA W&S Motorsport

    In the SP10 class, the AVIA W&S Motorsport team delivered a flawless performance. Moritz Oberheim, Philip Miemois and Toby Goodman dominated the race from first to last lap with the #165 Porsche 718 GT4 RS.

    “The day started with us not being able to drive at all due to fog. We could only start around half past eleven,” reported Oberheim. Despite the difficult conditions with a shortened 40-minute qualifying session, he secured pole position: “At the beginning it was still very difficult as we had many wet spots. But at the end of qualifying I was able to set a clear, good lap.”

    In the race, Oberheim quickly pulled away after a turbulent start: “From the third, fourth lap I could drive relatively freely and build up a big lead. I was very satisfied with the car – superbly prepared car from W&S, as always.”

    Stephan Brodmerkel and Hendrik Still completed the SP10 success with the #164 Massivhaus Porsche finishing P5 overall and P4 in the AM class. “It was actually a good start to the race. I started from P2, was up front the whole time, and Stephan did a solid job. We came home P4,” Still summarized with satisfaction.

    Cup3: Dramatic Victory After Thrilling Finale

    In the numerically strongest class with 17 starters, Joshua Bednarski and Lorenz Stegmann secured the class victory with the #962 CMS Porsche 718 GT4 CS after a dramatic finale.

    “The finish was incredible!” beamed Bednarski after crossing the line. “There was a big fight with our competitor. We had contact, I spun and the steering wheel was damaged, but I could continue and push hard.”

    The decisive turn came through a penalty for the competitor: “I saw that and told myself: OK, now we need to bring this race home.”

    Stegmann added the strategic aspects: “We won because we had more fuel than the others and they got a 30-second penalty. It was a race under pressure, but I really enjoyed it. The points are very important for the championship.”

    Further Strong Team Performances

    The other W&S Porsches also showed impressive performances. Christoph Krombach, Richard Jodexnis and René Höber finished with the #982 CK-Modelcars Porsche P10 overall and P4 in the AM class.

    “We had a very exciting weekend. I was able to improve two positions at the start and handed the car over to my colleague Richard in P8,” reported Höber. “We’re very satisfied – the car stayed in one piece and we had a lot of fun again.”

    Oliver Kunz, Peter Siebert and Lion Düker fought their way to P14 overall and P7 in the AM class with the #961 W&S Porsche despite a qualifying crash. “Lion had a crash in qualifying, but the team did outstanding work and repaired the car perfectly,” praised Kunz. “We could only really get going three laps after the start, but then my laps ran superbly.”

    Team Principal Draws Positive Conclusion

    Team principal Patrick Wagner was thrilled about the double success: “The race started late due to fog – we wouldn’t have expected that with such summery weather in the days before. We started from pole with both cars, in both SP10 and Cup3. “We had a fantastic race in SP10 – led the race from the first corner and never gave up the lead until the end. In Cup3 we were able to secure an important victory. It was exciting until the end, but we deservedly won.”

    Outlook

    With the double success at the season highlight, W&S Motorsport has collected important points in both class championships. The next NLS highlight is already coming in four weeks: On September 13th and 14th, there will be a double-header for the first time this season, with a four-hour race on each day.

    The successes at NLS 6 once again underline the versatility and strength of W&S Motorsport on the Nordschleife – from pole position to class victory in two different classes.

    W&S Motorsport hat beim KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen der NLS einen sensationellen Doppelerfolg gefeiert. Sowohl in der SP10-Klasse als auch in der Cup3-Kategorie sicherte sich das Team den Klassensieg. Das ursprünglich als 6-Stunden-Rennen geplante Saisonhighlight musste aufgrund von Nebel auf 4,5 Stunden verkürzt werden.

    SP10: Souveräner Sieg für AVIA W&S Motorsport

    In der SP10-Klasse lieferte das AVIA W&S Motorsport Team eine makellose Leistung ab. Moritz Oberheim, Philip Miemois und Toby Goodman dominierten das Rennen von der ersten bis zur letzten Runde mit dem #165 Porsche 718 GT4 RS.

    „Der Tag begann damit, dass wir aufgrund von Nebel gar nicht fahren konnten. Erst gegen halb zwölf konnten wir starten”, berichtete Oberheim. Trotz der schwierigen Bedingungen mit einem verkürzten 40-minütigen Qualifying eroberte er die Pole-Position: „Am Anfang war es noch sehr schwierig, da wir viele nasse Stellen hatten. Aber am Ende des Qualifyings konnte ich eine freie, gute Runde fahren.”

    Im Rennen setzte sich Oberheim nach einem turbulenten Start schnell ab: „Ab der dritten, vierten Runde konnte ich relativ frei fahren und dadurch einen hohen Vorsprung herausfahren. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Auto – super vorbereitetes Auto von W&S, wie immer.”

    Stephan Brodmerkel und Hendrik Still komplettierten den SP10-Erfolg mit dem #164 Massivhaus Porsche auf P5 gesamt und P4 in der AM-Klasse. „Es war eigentlich ein guter Start ins Rennen. Ich bin von P2 gestartet, war die ganze Zeit vorne mit dabei, und Stephan hat einen soliden Job gemacht. Wir sind auf P4 ins Ziel gekommen”, resümierte Still zufrieden.

    Cup3: Dramatischer Sieg nach packendem Finale

    In der zahlenmäßig stärksten Klasse mit 17 Startern sicherten sich Joshua Bednarski und Lorenz Stegmann mit dem #962 CMS Porsche 718 GT4 CS den Klassensieg nach einem dramatischen Finale.

    „Das Finish war unglaublich!”, strahlte Bednarski nach dem Zieleinlauf. „Es gab einen großen Kampf mit unserem Konkurrenten. Wir hatten Kontakt, ich machte einen Dreher und das Lenkrad war beschädigt, aber ich konnte weiterfahren und hart pushen.”

    Die entscheidende Wendung kam durch eine Strafe für den Konkurrenten: „Ich sah das und sagte mir: Ok, jetzt müssen wir das Rennen nach Hause bringen.”

    Stegmann ergänzte die strategischen Aspekte: „Wir haben gewonnen, weil wir mehr Sprit hatten als die anderen und sie eine 30-Sekunden-Strafe bekamen. Es war ein Rennen mit Druck, aber ich habe es wirklich genossen. Die Punkte sind für die Meisterschaft sehr wichtig.”

    Weitere starke Teamleistungen

    Auch die anderen W&S Porsches zeigten beeindruckende Leistungen. Christoph Krombach, Richard Jodexnis und René Höber erreichten mit dem #982 CK-Modelcars Porsche P10 gesamt und P4 in der AM-Klasse.

    „Wir hatten ein sehr spannendes Wochenende. Ich konnte mich beim Start direkt um zwei Plätze verbessern und übergab das Auto auf P8 an meinen Kollegen Richard”, berichtete Höber. „Wir sind sehr zufrieden – das Auto blieb ganz und wir hatten wieder viel Spaß.”

    Oliver Kunz, Peter Siebert und Lion Düker kämpften sich mit dem #961 W&S Porsche trotz eines Qualifying-Crashs auf P14 gesamt und P7 in der AM-Klasse. „Lion hatte einen Crash im Qualifying, aber das Team leistete hervorragende Arbeit und reparierte das Auto perfekt”, lobte Kunz. „Wir konnten erst drei Runden nach dem Start richtig loslegen, aber dann liefen meine Runden super.”

    Teamchef zieht positive Bilanz

    Teamchef Patrick Wagner zeigte sich begeistert über den Doppelerfolg: „Das Rennen startete verspätet wegen Nebel – hätten wir bei dem sommerlichen Wetter der Tage zuvor nicht gedacht. Wir sind mit beiden Autos von der Pole gestartet, sowohl in SP10 als auch in Cup3.”

    „Wir hatten ein fantastisches Rennen in der SP10 – haben das Rennen von der ersten Kurve an angeführt und die Führung bis zum Schluss nicht mehr abgegeben. In der Cup3 konnten wir einen wichtigen Sieg einfahren. Es war bis zum Schluss spannend, aber am Ende haben wir verdient gewonnen.”

    Ausblick

    Mit dem Doppelerfolg beim Saisonhighlight hat W&S Motorsport wichtige Punkte in beiden Klassenwertungen gesammelt. Das nächste Highlight der NLS steht bereits in vier Wochen an: Am 13. und 14. September findet erstmals in dieser Saison ein Double-Header statt, bei dem an beiden Tagen je ein Vier-Stunden-Rennen gefahren wird.

    Die Erfolge bei der NLS 6 unterstreichen einmal mehr die Vielseitigkeit und Stärke von W&S Motorsport auf der Nordschleife – von der Pole-Position bis zum Klassensieg in zwei verschiedenen Klassen.
