W&S Motorsport will tackle the legendary 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with a strong lineup of three Porsche Cayman. The team, which has already celebrated several class victories in the current NLS season, aims to demonstrate its versatility and strength at the season highlight on the Nordschleife.
SP10 Class: Massivhaus Porsche #164 with Proven Trio and Newcomer
In the SP10 class, W&S Motorsport fields the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS #164. The proven trio of Stephan Brodmerkel, Jürgen Vöhringer and Hendrik Still will be joined for the 24-hour race by Niclas Wiedmann, who joins the team specifically for this event. The three regular drivers have already delivered convincing performances in the 2025 NLS season, including a second place at the third NLS round where they briefly held the lead.
Jürgen Vöhringer, who lives close to W&S Motorsport, has been loyal to the team since 2019 and competes every year in the 24h race and NLS. Stephan Brodmerkel enters his second 24h race with the team. For Hendrik Still, the 24h race marks the start of a true racing marathon: After the endurance classic, he travels with the team to the GT4 European Series, where he leads the championship into the second half of the season, then starts the same weekend with Tim Horell in the Porsche Sports Cup before competing with the team at the Norisring in ADAC GT4 Germany. Niclas Wiedmann, with the team since 2021 and already a race winner in the Cayman, completes the quartet.
Massivhaus Mittelrhein GmbH supports the team as partner. The family business builds exclusively using monolithic construction – stone by stone – and relies on sustainable technologies such as geothermal energy for heating and cooling. With individual house concepts at fixed package prices, the company combines craftsmanship precision with innovative technology – qualities that are also crucial in motorsport.
Cup3 AM Class: ck-modelcars Porsche #982 with Experienced Quartet
In the Cup3 AM class, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport #982 starts with Christoph Krombach, Fabian Peitzmeier, Axel Duffner and René Höber. Krombach, who has been successfully running ck-modelcars as one of Europe’s leading model car specialists since 2003, drives the full season for W&S Motorsport in Cup3 and has already achieved several solid results. CK-modelcars also operates a sales stand at NLS races and the 24h race, creating the perfect connection between motorsport and the miniature world.
His teammates bring extensive experience: René Höber drives his third 24h race for W&S and has been loyal to the team since starting motorsport in 2020. Axel Duffner can trace an even longer history with W&S Motorsport: From 2016 to 2019, he raced alongside W&S Motorsport founder and team principal Daniel Schellhaas at the Nürburgring and has taken the wheel at the 24h race for the team every year since 2020. As owner of Hotel Schöne Aussicht, Duffner additionally organizes catering for the 24h race. The cooperation between Hotel Schöne Aussicht and W&S Motorsport extends across all racing series. Fabian Peitzmeier rounds out the quartet.
Cup3 Class: CMS Porsche #962 with Clear Goals
The W&S Motorsport lineup is completed by the distinctive yellow CMS Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport #962 with Moritz Oberheim, Lorenz Stegmann, Finn Zulauf and Joshua Bednarski. The car, which already celebrated a class victory at the third NLS round of 2025, carries the colors of CMS Automotive Trading GmbH for the second time.
Team Principal Daniel Schellhaas is optimistic:
“With three cars in different classes, we can fully utilize our range and experience. Each team has its own strengths and goals, but all are united by passion for this unique race.”
The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring takes place from Thursday, June 19, 2025 to Sunday, June 22, 2025 and is considered one of the world’s toughest endurance races.
