W&S Motorsport has announced its driver lineup for the 2025 NLS season. The Ofterdingen-based team will compete in the Cup 3 class of the Nürburgring Endurance Series with Richard Jodexnis, Christoph Krombach and René Höber, targeting top positions in the amateur classification.
For 28-year-old Richard Jodexnis, joining W&S Motorsport marks the next significant step in his career. After two successful years in the VT2 and SP10 classes, including a strong performance at the 24-hour race, the Hannover native will now take on the challenging Cup 3 class alongside his teammates.
W&S Motorsport’s driver combination builds on proven partnerships: Jodexnis and Christopher Krombach already demonstrated perfect teamwork in the SP10 class last season. The trio is completed by René Höber, who has previously achieved success with W&S Motorsport at the Nordschleife.
The car will feature the distinctive ck-modelcars livery. The renowned model car retailer plans to strengthen its presence at the Nürburgring throughout 2025 with various promotional activities. Their shop at the Breitscheid bridge in Adenau further emphasizes ck-modelcars’ strong connection to the “Green Hell.”
Comments on the Season Start:
Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport:
“With Richard Jodexnis, Christoph Krombach and René Höber, we’ve assembled a promising driver lineup for the Cup 3 class. All three drivers bring extensive experience and complement each other perfectly. We’re particularly pleased to have ck-modelcars as a strong partner. Our goal for 2025 is clear: we aim to be at the forefront of the AM classification and demonstrate what our team is capable of at the Nordschleife. Preparations are in full swing, and we can’t wait for the season to begin.”
Richard Jodexnis:
“I’m incredibly excited to start the new season with W&S Motorsport. The past years in NLS have been an amazing experience – from our first successes in VT2 to solid results in SP10 and competing in the 24-hour race. I’ve continuously improved my lap times and driving skills, and now, taking on this new challenge with a new team and strong driver lineup is something I’m really looking forward to!”
René Höber:
“I’m very excited to compete again with W&S Motorsport in the NLS Cup 3 class alongside my fellow drivers Christoph Krombach and Richard Jodexnis in the Cayman for the Manthey Trophy. We’re all highly motivated and looking forward to exciting races at the Nordschleife. We’re approaching this with great sporting ambition, aiming for podium finishes in the AM class. The Nordschleife presents a significant challenge for the entire W&S Motorsport team, and we’re looking forward to another successful season in 2025.”
Christoph Krombach:
“For 2025, we’re planning a strong brand presence at the Nürburgring. We’ll be on site with a car featuring the CK Modelcars branded design and various promotional activities. Here at the Nürburgring, where legends are born for collectors’ display cases, we maintain a year-round presence with our ck-modelcars shop directly at the Breitscheid bridge in Adenau.”
The new season promises plenty of excitement: With the combination of an experienced team, strong driver lineup, and clear focus on the AM classification, W&S Motorsport heads into the 2025 racing season highly motivated.
